Graphic Shirts and Apparel
Year: 2019-2023
Client: Miner League
Services: Creative Direction; Art Direction; Graphic Design
The Goal: The goal here was simple, create the most beautiful and excellent apparel pieces for Andy Mineo.
Credits: Apart from the concept, art and creative direction for all of these pieces, I handled all principal design except for the Roll Call Ramen Shirt (2020), 7:7 ML Shirt (2020) and Camo Sunrise Trucker Cap (2020).
Caleb Davis handled principal design for the Roll Call Ramen Shirt (2020), 7:7 ML Shirt (2020), and Camo Sunrise Trucker Cap (2020) pieces; R.J. Vergara handled additional design for the It Could Be Worse Shirt (2021) and Celestial Deathmatch Shirt (2021) pieces; Todd Stanbury handled the illustration on the Dream Team Shirt (2022).
Notes: One of the standout moments during this period was creating the Roll Call Ramen shirt. We decided to create a fictional ramen restaurant, which made the design more playful and immersive.
A particularly fun detail? At one point, the phone number on the shirt was actually functional.
When you called, you were greeted with a song or a pre-recorded voicemail—adding a layer of interactivity that brought the concept to life in an unexpected way.
